Is finding that one special person to spend the rest of your life w/ a fairy tale or is it real?

It is real! I just celebrated 40th on the way to forever. And that is a male perspective.

If your asking if their are soul mates. that I dont believe. Some people spend a lifetime together but there was probably alot of lying and cheating that happened inbetween it all. People are always hurting their loved one and that doesnt make for a soul mate.

Finding a soul mate is a fairy tale. Even if you do it will be the wrong place, the wrong time or the wrong situation. In life there are two choices. In a relationship and bored or single and lonely. Happiness is no where to be found.

I don't believe in there being only one right person in the world for each of us, but I do believe that there are only a handfull of people in the world that we could find happiness for the rest of our lives with.

It's real, the thing is that you aren't likely to find it at a young age. You can't be in a hurry to find it, and need to spend time, years, dating and experiencing new people, that way you will learn what it is you are really looking for.

it sounds like a fairy tail, but some people actually find true love these days so i guess its real if you find the right person.
