i have heard about it from other people. and ashamely i have seen it in porn. i have heard stories about girls who got it, and these stories are very unpleasent.

I was playing with my own when I was just a tiny tike. But the funny thing is another kid tried to explain sex to me in grade school, and didn't really know any more than me. He said, "You know how girls have a bigger space between their legs than guys?" I didn't know that, but nodded and encouraged hom to go on. "Well," he continued, "the guy gets behind her and sticks his thingy in her space." Now at that point, the only receptacle (space) I was aware of was the anus. So I spent my formative years believing that we humans did it pretty much like roosters and hens. And the rest is history. :)
