Yes, during my school days I used to go hitch hiking and I really liked it. I have accepted free rides from complete strangers many times over.

Yes alot of things.. i was once very poor and hungry when i moved out on my own to the city.. busking was my income til i ogt a job lol.. me and my buddy played guitar and bongos for money and smokes and one woman gave me a sandwich and two bucks.. she was very nice and the sandwich was AMAZING.. also a guy gave me a cigar and afghani militant patches and a ukulele.. you meet some pretty cool/weird people sitting on the streets

Pamphlets & money. Was sitting at a laundry mat years ago and a man walked up to me and handed me an envelope and said "Please except this" and he walked away. Had a $50.00 bill inside of the envelope.

Yes..on behalf of my son. Many years ago when my son was about 3, he, his grandmother and I were in a restaurant in Rockport, Massachusetts having lunch. After awhile an elderly gentleman came over to us, complimented me on my son's manners and gave me a 4-leaf clover keychain..he wanted my son to have it. That is the only time anything like that ever happened. Of course my mother-in-law was somewhat startled as was I...we both thought it was very nice of him..his wife was smiling at us from their booth so I guess they'd discussed it in advance before he came over! :)

Nope never done that before. Think about it what if they wanted to lure you into a trap. Such as candy,money,games,etc.

yes tickets to the event we were queing to buty them for, it was very nice of him, as well, once while sitting on Waikiki beach , a young guy came up to us and handed us all his money and wallet, and said can you mind this while I go for a swim?, we did, we sat there with it all, waited for him to come back, which he did after about 15 minutes, we gave it back to him, he said thanks and walked away, he placed so much trust in us.......:)
