It irritates me when questions are marked as duplicates when the context is completely different, anyone else find this irritating?

That is annoying and something that can be reported through Feedback at the bottom of those particular question pages. I saw one reinstated just today because of differing context. Was in the middle of answering it when it was mistakenly marked as a duplicate!

AB goes on at length answering why they WON'T delete two similar seeming questions if the context is different. The exact same words may have very different meanings when asked in two different categories. So you certainly have the right to protest if you think a question is deleted improperly.

Yes. Very. It seems that AB is no different than Yahoo!answers. People flag and AB automatically agrees without looking at the issue.

Yes, especially when you look at some of the answers and they dont even remotely fit what was asked.

Calm down. There's plenty of other things in life that deserve getting irritated with besides this. Put it into prospective. Having your car tag fall off constantly because you don't know why, and losing your socks and shoes on a daily basis is irritating. Duplicates just are.
