Do you use your fingernails or a knife when you start to peel an orange?

Slice off part of the top and bottom with a knife then the peel comes off easy.

Thumbnail, get in there and start to peel.

Actually I usually use an "orange peeler" : http://www.amazon.com/Kitchen-Supply-2022-Orange-Stripper/dp/B000BK5S6A Or I use my hands/fingernails, but it makes a "mess" under my fingernails, so I usually use the peeler :)
