Everyone should believe in it,...Its a proven fact that the Earth is undergoing changes due to human factors. The REAL question is do you believe it will ever have a big impact on us. I think it will, but not for about another 5000-10000 years.
-
I don't! believing in global warming is pretty much a waste of time/effort, and people are only scared of whats been done because of technology actually showing partial results. What about the dust bowl and all the climate changes of the past, are these direct results of global warming?
-
I dont really, the earth has always had hot/cold cycles, I think governments are just using it as another excuse to tax/hassle everyone. Lets see them all stop using their jets and limos first
-
How come all of the other planets are going thru global warming
-
Global Warming is a joke. And it's not very funny.
-
I believe

I'm still waiting for the ice age all of the scientists were predicting the earth was heading for back in the 1970's. Anyone remember that?
-
Global Warming is ridiculous. There are no facts. The earth naturally heats up and cools down. We have been through several ice ages and droughts. It's nothing new. It's all a big joke. It's like any other theory. It can be debated for hours, but until I see proof, I won't buy into it. And I loved the comment about the limos and jets. There is no "carbon-offset" in the world that can make up for hypocrisy.

I don't think that there are any serious scientists that will deny that Earth is getting warmer. What is in dispute is the cause of this warming and the consequences. Admittedly, a majority scientists believe that humans are the cause of this warming. However, there is a fairly significant minority of us that question that conclusion. This is where the debate is.
-
Ok first of all the earth has warmed half a degree in a 150 or so years. Second of all in the 1970's we where worried about global cooling. Third of all global warming is far from a proven fact as one should actually check in the growing number of scientists that are opposing it. Oh and by the way if you look just about every scientist that supports global warming is getting money from a source which has a stake in global warming. I think nevets has a pretty good video here which I did not get to watch the whole thing but it was done by the BBC. http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/164061/514495

i dont believe it

vgood question. idk.

vgood question. idk.

i dont believe it
-
yeah! i don't believe it at all, scientists have proved the earth heats up and cools down. its a regular cycle.
-
I don't believe we know enough about our climate to say one way or the other if we are in a warming period or if it's global warming. Even if it is really global warming I don't think the dire consequences that are predicted will be nearly what they are making them out to be.

i believe in GW
-
I think that there is a good chance that we are going through global warming. So i think that there is global warming and people should think about what they are using and be careful with what Earth we have left.

Well, I will start off my answer by saying that I do, in fact, "believe" in Global Warming. I do not know where to start, so I will start with some facts. 1. In the last 900 (and change) articles written by qualified scientists, 0% disagreed with global warming, and 0% disagreed with human caused global warming. 2. Global Warming is cause by the atmosphere becoming thicker. As humans emit CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) into the atmosphere, it thickens. Because of this, more heat gets trapped into the atmosphere, thus making it hotter. More on the CO2 effects on the heat of the Earth: The sun emits radiation and the Earth absorbs some. Then, the earth reflects some of the radiation into Outer Space. The problem is that because of CO2, more of the radiation cannot leave the Earth. This means that more heat stays inside the Earth We do also know that humans are causing global warming. In the last 650Million years, the CO2 parts per million has NEVER been above 300. This includes ice ages and the intervals of time between them. Today, with our industrialized nations spitting out CO2 by the ton, we have a lot more than 300. To be exact, we have about 382 CO2 parts per million We can know this because of research. Scientists study ice that has been around for a long time (let's say, Antarctica). The ice traps air bubbles, and from that, we can know accurate measures from far back. For those of you who are disbelieving that CO2 causes global warming, take this fact. Within the last 650Million years, the CO2 levels have ALWAYS been codjacent with the rise and fall in temperatures. And, just pointing out the obvious, 650Million years is quite a large sample size. Global Warming is quite a scary happening to our World, and we must, as a society of humans, take action against it. The temperatures could get drastically higher, and many scientists believe that in the next ten years, the damage can become irreversible. Thank you for taking the time to read my answer and at http://www.paramountpictures.co.uk/aitemail/ you can receive ten easy ways to help our planet and our way of life.

NEVER! its all fiction. mayb trying 2 get money from us but i think the worlds in 4 a ice age (Y) but global warming taken over peoples lifes now. stupid people who started this off.

i do..but one good thing will come out of it..we will all be able to wear shorts all year round =P

While I DO believe in taking care of the earth, not polluting it, and doing our best to keep it as clean and pleasant as possible... And I DO believe that there has been a slight warming trend of late years... I tend to think that the science behind linking the two is tenuous at best and a complete scam at worst. The SUN is the biggest indicator of planetary temperature... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_cycle ... and scientists observing it are beginning to worry that the sun is either late in starting or skipping an activity cycle - as it has in the past resulting in millions of deaths across northern Europe and Asia, famines because the growing season was not long enough to ripen the food, and people freezing to death in the winters. Now it would be temporary, as long as the sun returns to its normal cycle, but would likely more than reverse the effects of it's particularly active cycles lately which seem to have resulted in the shrinkage of polar ice caps and glaciers and the like.

Never really bought it, like I never bought global freezing of the late 70s.
-
I think the real question should be do you think humans are changing the world in which we live. I think it's more than a little naive to think that humans have no real impact on our environment and that this impact is eventually going to prove extremely negative if left unchecked. Whether your dogma is "global warming" or denying global warming.. it is impossible to deny that we are changing the world in drastic ways.
-
I believe it. It has been going on since the Ice Age. It took an idiot like Al Gore to get this shit started.

Me. GW is a hoax. My 2 cents. http://www.21stcenturysciencetech.com/Articles%202007/GWHoaxBorn.pdf
