If an antipersperint (can't spell, sorry) clogs the pores so you don't swet, and a deoderant covers up the smell, what an antipersperint deodarant do? (sorry for the bad spelling).

Most anti-perspirants do NOT clog up pores, but have ions that stay on the skin to prevent release of sweat. A combination anti-perspirant/deodorant not only helps prevent sweating, but attempts to minimize or cover the sweat smells that may get through.
