Cynicism is a world-weary loss of faith in something or someone caused by experiences of failure or being jaded. It is often callous and is an involuntary survival mechanism. Good people can become cynical unintentionaly. It's sad, unfortunate, and can be corrected, but it's every person's right to be that way if they choose. It's also every person's right to voice their oppinion as to whether they agree with a cynic.

I sometimes ask goofy questions, but I also ask my share of reasonable ones. I am certainly not going to feel guilty or immature for having a sense of humor. That's just stupid. Don't get me wrong, I do understand your concern. However, all questions whether silly or serious seem to get answered around here sooner or later. Good question. 4+
