  • i sure don't. i try to be a good person and i am always putting myself out to help other people, but when i need help, i get the door slammed in my face by the very same people. it makes me feel like doing what is right isn't worth it. i just feel used when they turn their backs on me, and i am talking about my own f#%&ing family!
  • Newton's Third Law applies to human behavior as well as matter in motion. You can expect an equal and opposite reaction to every action you take. However, if you have a very high position you can expect a disproportionate reaction, or 100 million reactions for a single action, as when a politician makes a gaffe. You can get a disproportionate reaction when someone is hypersensitive. You can get multiple reactions from the same person. All this means you should be very careful and think over the response you are likely to get before taking any action, and then take the minimum necessary action. For example, lots of people hate Rush Limbaugh (I don't) because he insults people he doesn't like, ridicules their names and so forth. Dennis Prager takes many of the same positions but without getting so much hate, because Prager never makes ad hominem attacks. When I finally discovered what I have written here, I stopped getting in trouble so often.
