What 'handy to have for the future' thing have you bought, but never used, nor can see yourself ever using?

i can't think of any i won't ever use, because i live in south florida so theres a ton of hurricane stuff we can buy and it actually comes in handy

A set of holiday china... A friend of mine was selling it for some extra cash, but I really can't see myself ever using it. Even though I do have some family over for holiday meals, I hate cleaning up afterwards. So to avoid all of those dirty dishes... I use paper plates. lol
