You have to eat a diet which gives you the nutrients that meat would normally give you. I was a lazy vegetarian and became anemic, i eat meat now but only enough ;0)

What do you mean it will make your system rot? I know pwople that have eaten lots of meat every day for years and are healthy as can be! It's SUGAR that makes your body "rot".

It is not that difficult to give up eat - I did it for 14 years - but you must develop a greater understanding of nutrition, to ensure that you get a balanced diet. Maybe by developing an interest in nutrition, you will find an answer to how meat can rot your system - cause I do not think I have ever heard that one before

Your tastebuds can change though it takes awhile and it's hard to tough out a new diet, especially if you cut out a food group. I don't believe that meat rots anymore in your body than broccoli does. I remember the Fit for Life people stating that eggs rot in your body (maybe they said intestines). All food is attacked by bacteria in the intestines and is why feces smell bad. A lot of people do very well on low-carb diets. Some cardiologists and doctors recommend a a low-fat vegan diet for their patients.

People can lay off the meant but laying off the meat is a bit harder

Without meat, you will not be able to obtain the protien you need to build your system. Many people don't eat meat because of religion or beliefs, but they make up their need of protien by eating soy beans or some type of protien-bearing plant. As my doctor said: A 1/4 lb of red meat a day keeps the doctor away.

When I ate meat the only meat I really ate was fast food so it was easy to give it up. I havent eaten meat for 5 years and havent looked back. Im in the best shape of my life and the healthiest Ive ever been. You can be vegetarian and get enough protein you just might want to supplement a bit when you arent meeting your daily protein needs. Also making sure you get enough iron and B vitamins. You dont even need to go that far. If you eat chicken and fish and stop eating unhealthy meat like ground beef and pork you will notice a difference. Filter everything but lean meat out and increase your fruit/veggie/whole grains and you will be a lot healthier. Or get rid of all meats but eat a lot of beans/nuts/dairy/fruits/veggies/whole grain and drink whey protein shakes a few times a week or after a workout.

Why would you want to?Sugar and artificial sweeteners will mess you up far more than meat will.
