Since people die every day, what makes us think we will wake up tomorrow?

    I don't worry about it. If I do I do, and if I don't I hope I hear nice music and feel really relaxed.

    It has happened each day before, why would tomorrow be any different?
    Plus I think people don't like to think of the alternative, so there is no alternative in a lot of peoples minds.

    So THAT's why my parents made us recite out prayers every night...."if I die before I wake, I pray thee Lord my soul to take..." I didn't think about it much when I was little but, I didn't teach my daughter THAT version.

    I'm not really sure what you're asking here. If you want to know what gives us the idea that if we go to sleep tonight, we'll wake up tomorrow or the religious question, if we die, we'll wake up in heaven, yaddah, yaddah, thing
