Help answer this question below.
Oh yes it has happened several times. Makes me sad for them but I can understand that when it comes to trying to understand people through typed words a lot is taken away from the meaning behind your words.
Happens all the while, especially when your talking to people across the pond....different cultures cause misunderstandings.
Happens to me all the time. I've been assaulted by many babbling buffoons on here before, who found it necessary to air their opinions on me when they really had no clue what I was talking about.
They usually can't spell very good either.
i have that happen to me almost every day. & when it does, i only have one thing to say to them.
Sure. It's all par for the course;)
It's happened to me a couple times and when I tried to respond to them I get mysteriously flagged and my question marked as nonsense. Seems I have some haters out there, oh well what can I do.
I imagine that's happened to most of us more than once.
Yes but surprisingly rarely!
There's been only one guy I felt needed to be institutionalized for his own good and only a couple more who were a little narow minded and unrespectful to other's.
Frankly, I run into like situations in real life a lot more often!
Yes, even when I tried to ask the question as neutrally as possible.
Probably. But I know I've done the same to others, so it doesn't matter much.
Absolutely. I do this to someone at least once a day. It's better than drinking.
I have done this whole thing before. And been on both sides, sometimes I'm WAY wrong!!! Some comments really get to ya, though, so ya feel like ya have to respond.
I don't know(personally) anyone on AB, but I have my favorites, and I have some whom I wish would go away, just based on responses.
Would you like to say to whom you're referring to in this question?
Oh yes more thimes than you can shake a stick at.
Sometimes I feel people totally misunderstand you deliberately so that they can insult you . Others maybe I have not explained myself well enough for others to understand what I am saying.
Whichever it is I have learned that you have no chance of pleasing everyone all the time unless you really say nothing of any content so I just write what I mean and if people disagree that is their right.
Just happened to me. Someone missed a crucial part in my answer and gave me a pretty harsh response. The best part was being reminded I am a "newby" and was commenting on something I knew nothing about. I had a momentary flashback to high school! I think there are many interesting, intelligent, and kind people on this site, but there also seems to be some groups restricted to only those deemed worthy!
Well, I've asked questions with a little bit of background so people know what i'm talking about, and i get some nasty comments. If they just knew what I meant it would be different. :)
When is the last time you heard "That's a good question" but the speaker doesn't answer the question?

I like thoughtful, civil answers whether I agree with them or not. Are you the same way? When are you not civil or are you always?
