Humans are here because we evolved over millenia due to evolutionary factors such as resource competition and environment.

I do not believe that we are here for any purpose, if that is what you are referring to. The whole concept of purpose was invented by humans; animals don't wonder why they exist here they merely live their lives and die. I believe that we should try and not worry about things like this, because we are very unlikely to find an answer. Unless you go for the whole religion thing, but then none of that can be proven can it?

Humans are here for the same reason that rocks, fish and microorganisms are here. There is no "why" as such; only our clever evolved brains allow us to ask such questions, or to delude ourselves we have the answer to this sort of question.

The aircraft THen the space craft Then... The Human teloaporter To figure out how to transport to different galaxys using special space crafts. To find another uninhabited planet that could support life To create our own basic creature in a labratory and release it on this new planet To Watch our lifeforms slowly evolve into many highly advanced creatures. So we can fire asteroids at them and watch them die, just like The aliens we call "God" did to the dinosaurs Ok totally just kiding, but i had a fun time.. Humans are here to breed and propagate, like any other life form. Any other greater purpose is something they are individually compelled to do. It is more noble because it is not the original why but a why created by an organism willing to break free of its traditional role. Its almost like Rudy, from the movie Rudy, striving to be what no one else believed he ought.

I honestly do not know why we are here. But there is defintly a reason. There is a reason for everything. Religon is a crock, but thats they best we got so far so we havent tried all that hard have we? I feel that if generations of people dedicated thier lives to finding this answer, we will find it. But furthermore, life is not worth living if you have no purpose. To live life following rules and doing what other people want of you is not you living your life. Live your life to the fullest and dont listen to anyone else
