I already have one. My backpack is my shopping bag. It's huge, double chambered, and holds 40 pounds or more. My wife has a shopping bag/hand cart affair that she can haul 30 pounds or more in.

Ive never heard of the green bag lady here in england ,but they have now started to charge you for a plastic bag here in certain shops ,i use the ones that are made from material or the really strong plastic types that supermarkets supply ,not very attractive but they fit much more in them and help you to do your little bit for the earth.

It is a great idea and i already have some, though i like pink bags from clothing stores much better :)
