How many winter coats do you own? I know some people who have over 5. Is that excessive?

Specifically for the winter? I have two. I have several others, but I can wear them any time.

Well I live in Florida so really I dont need heavy winter coats but I do have 1. The rest are just little sweaters that can be worn when its a littly nippy here (like 60 degrees). But really as a female there is no such thing as excessive just accesorising! lol - hope this helps. And by the way there is nothing wrong with a man having more then 5! It shows he has style and cares about what his outfit says! Appearance is the first things you see when you meet someone new!

none, I Live in Texas, no matter how cold it gets I can just wear a jacket and a sweater under with a hat, gloves and scarf. the likelyhood of me needing a super heavy jacket is so little that I wouldn't spent the $ on one. not helpful I know, but true!

I have two already taking up too much room in my Florida guest room closet...just in case I have to head north for a funeral or something. None in my family is nitwit enough to schedule a wedding in the winter...at least not if they want the "rich uncle" to attend with his generous gift! :-)

I have one down coat, one raincoat with a lining, and one velvet dressy coat. Then I have two parkas jackets for casual wear.

I have about 5 winter coats. I have many coats for fall, though. Some women love shoes. I love jackets and coats.

I have one. My daughter has 6 and wanted another for Christmas. She's an adult and North Face is a bit over the top for a girl that already has 6 coats. Maybe next year.

If you live somewhere that gets very cold, that is not excessive. You have to have at least one long coat, one parka, one dressy, one a little lighter, and one just in case. I don't own any, I wear a fleece jacket or a sweat shirt when it gets cold.

I have 3 coats I would classify as "winter coats." I hate wearing coats though.
