If using God's name in vain is a curse, and saying Hell is cussing, what if you are an atheist? If you don't believe in God or Hell, is it still cursing/cussing to use those words?

God not sure, it can be used to announce surprise, pleasant or not. Hell though definitely, have you ever heard someone say "go to hell" and mean it in the nicest way possible?

Religion is a BELIEF not a LAW. I believe the bible is a book of nonsense so therefore those religious scriptures don't apply to me. So no, it's not cussing if an atheist says it. It's only cussing because you allow yourself to think it is.

Hello Keysha... I always imterpreted that commandment to be more of a "hypocrisy" thing...meaning, don't say you are "Godly" and act "ungodly"
