When they are screaming in hysteria and/or panic always called for a good slap from me when I was in the Marines. I usually prefered the double-slap -- right palm to left cheek, continue swing UP, then backhand to right cheek -- good and hard. Tended to shock them back to their senses! Whut can I say: panic and hysteria never helped anyone! But a good slap did!
