you just want fresh food. anything with preservatives you dont want to eat. anything with excess sugar like added corn syrup or high fructose corn syrup. no fast foods. if it has a drive through dont go there. lots of salads. exercise will drive you to eat protien...meat. its okay...just stay lean. no fat.

Avoid going out to eat in restaurants or fast food places. Most people would be shocked at how much weight they could lose if they stooped going to them places, even once a week can cause fat gain.I would also avoid a lot of sugary foods as best you can.

While of course the basis for your diet should be good, healthy foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean meats, if you hope to have successful and sustained weight loss, there should be no food that you have to avoid. Your weight plan has to become a change of lifestyle, where you can have any food you want on occasion and in moderation. Any attempt to deprive yourself of foods you really love will do nothing but backfire and have you going right back up that scale. Diets take place in the real world so your best bet for success is a realistic approach.

I used to have to totally avoid my favorite foods, like bacon, sausage, french fries, spaghetti, but now I get to eat anything I want. My nutritionist has given me a diet that will allow any food I want, not matter what, with one rule, and only one rule. I have to eat very small portions of it. No more plates all filled up. I can eat one sausage, instead of three, and fill up the rest of the plate with chopped up fruit. I eat those cute little burger bites, and five french fries. The rest of the plate is pickles, and giant salads. I replaced my 10 inch plates with 8 inch plates, and my two cup cereal/soup bowls with one cup bowls (with wide edges for looks and weight).

I avoid fizzy drinks, energy drinks, that sort of thing. Oh and chocolate, but TBH my vice is fizzy sweets. I just avoid walking in a building that contains them.
