register your debit card on paypal and then use it to pay, that's what I do even if you can pay directly by debit card, most sellers only accept paypal :)

There are new rules on eBay, and one of them is that you must use Paypal. You can use a debit card, a bank account, a cheking account, all sorts of things through Paypal, but you must use Paypal on eBay now.
