It depends on what you include. For instance, would you include US paratroopers who died from impact landing in Germany? How about someone who died of starvation in France the day after the German army rolled in? How about German citizens who volunteered to join Hitler's Army? Jewish sources believe the number of Jews killed in WW2 was approximately 6 million.
