  • The water in the tank is very cold and will cause this to happen when it cools the ceramic tank condensation will occur on the outside. Generally, when the tank refills after a flush the water will be cold but will warm quickly with the warm ceramic tank. Sometimes there may be a leak or the flap that allows water to drain will not seal well. In that case the lost water will constantly be replaced with the very cold water coming from the pipes and instead of the water warming it will stay cold and cool the ceramic tank until the tank "sweats". Try cleaning and inspecting the fla and its seal to the ring. It may be damaged.
  • Are you sure it's condensation? Maybe there is a leak from below the tank and it's leaking down the bowl? Not trying to alarm you,but unless the air outside the tank is full of moisture, there shouldn't be a lot of condensation developing.
