The only emails you should be receiving are new answers to your questions, or any questions or categories that you have flagged to "watch". NOTES: Just below the question box on the submission page, there's a checkbox (default is ON) that says, "Email me when this question receives answers." When you turn it OFF (uncheck the box) and submit a question, it will not go into your Watch List. (And it will remain however you last set it. Once on, it's ON for all questions until you turn it off, and vice-versa.) Just above the SUBMIT button for each answer are the questions/checkboxes: Send me new answers to this question Send me new questions in <category> The default setting is for the "answers to this question" question is CHECKED. The default for the "questions in <category>" is UNCHECKED. Make sure both are unchecked, or you will receive emails for answers to the question or new questions in the category. All "watched" questions and answers are on your Watch List. (Profile, My Settings tab, Watch List menu item, or Profile, My Q&A tab, Watch List menu item, then click "Edit Watch List" (right side of heading). Delete ALL questions (and categories?) for which you not longer wish to receive emails. (check the delete box, then click the delete button at the bottom. I tend to do it one page at a time.) I also leave congratulatory questions and others written by others that I wish to keep an eye on. Once that's all done, the ONLY emails you should receive are rejected flaggings you've made. (Moderating questions and answers.) You cannot turn them off. Just don't make too many mistakes, here! ;-)
