  • Actually it's slightly cheaper. Old price: 5 cans x 6 ounces = 30oz for $5 New price: 6 cans x 5 ounces = 30oz for $4.80
  • Nearly every company is down sizing their products. Ice cream went from half gallons to 1.75 qts and now they are at 1.5 qts and still charging the same amount. I was told it was because of shipping and they didn't want to keep the same size and charge more, that people wouldn'5 like it. I told them I wouldn't be buying their two labels anymore and I haven't. And check out the bottom of Skippy peanut butter. It's got a dome on the bottom, 2 tablespoons less for the same price. And you just see the jar and take it for granted that it's the same amount. Aren't they clever? NOT!
  • Boycott?
  • Merchants have been doing that for millenia. Most people don't actually do the math. They simply see the word "Sale". +4
  • If I understand the way you've worded the question correctly, you're now getting 5 pieces of 5oz each, that's 25 oz, for $4, That's now 6.25 oz per dollar. Previously you were only getting 6 oz per dollar. The new deal is therefore better, by just over 4%.
