I got married at 46; wife was 42. We are happy after 13 years.
-
We may be old but we're not dead;)
-
My wife married me when I was about 46, and although she won't say how old she is, I'm pretty sure she's over 40 too.
-
I think it would be an ideal age to get married. Most of the growing pains (including kids) are most likely on have worked themselves out. I think it would depend on the couple. I am 35, my boyfriend is 53-I don't want to marry him but I love just being with him. He married his second wife when he was in his forties. I would marry the right man over forty-but it would have to be the right situation;) Great question!

Really? are you serious? Of course people can get married after 40 years old. Would a woman get married to a guy who is over 40?I would be surprised if they were in love that they WOULDN'T get married,,if only for the tax breaks.
-
Why not?
-
Yeah. A costumer of mine had never lived with a guy before, and she just got married. She's over 40.
-
Sure, but after I'm 60 I'll get hitched to a >40 yr old guy
-
I just met a couple who got married in their 50's, I think both of them for the first time - definitely the lady's first time because we spoke about it.
-
Of course they can and yes, women marry men over 40 all the time (it's not so old). Like with any other marriage, she'll want to marry him as long as she's SURE he's her Mr. Perfect. As long as they are both adults, age is irrelevant.
-
Of course:)
-
No, it's illegal in certain states and countries. You may have to move.
-
There is a law against it. How can you not know this.
-
How old are you exactly? People who are in their 70's and 80's get married. Now, if the man is 40 and the girl is 18, she'd be marrying a guy old enough to be her father! That's true. But if two people are roughly the same age, well then, guess what? Love/romance does not end at 40..trust me on this. Happy Monday! :)
-
wow. Yes. and your parents probably still have sex. Shocking isn't it.
-
My parents, dad and stepmom, got married in their 40's
-
Of course they can... My grandmother remarried at 50 (her first husband died at 48)... I married my second wife at 49, and my wife was 47... I have a female cousin who married (2nd time) at 37... Her husband was 39, and had her first child at 39 (3 mos shy of 40), second at 41 1/2+. An uncle married his 2nd wife at over 40. There've been NUMEROUS reports of people marrying in nursing homes. There's absolutely NOTHING wrong with it. ;-) And, yes... Obviously a woman would marry a man over 40. In most cases, SHE is close or over 40, too, and they're relatively close in age, but so what?

ROFLMAO! Well, DUH! I'm 65. A year ago last November, I married my best friend. She's 50. How's that? : ))
-
Yes, and I look forward to it, too!
-
of course they can, it makes more sense b/c you should definitly be ready by then.
-
duhh yeah lol
-
I can not even believe that youa re asking this!!!!!
-
Yes, it happens all the time. Some people even get married at nursing homes!
-
Sure. My grandmother found her soulmate later in life. I think she was in her 50s. He was her 2nd husband (she was widowed), but definitely the love of her life.
