I'm not sure about green tea's effectiveness,... I can't personally use it because the caffeine overload makes me feel like I'm having a nervous breakdown. - If you're concerned with weight loss,...I'll tell you what's working for me. ;_; It's best to make small changes in your habits,...things that you can maintain. - 1- Unpasteurized Apple Cider Vinegar (with the Mother) (I take about two TBSP, mixed with a glass of water,...or apple juice.) It's "supposed" to help with your metabolism,... what I KNOW is that I feel better and have more energy when I use it. 2 - Fiber, fiber, fiber! At each meal or maybe 15 minutes before I plan on eating I'll have a high fiber snack,...like an apple, banana or tangerine. At mealtime, I can have whatever I want,...but because I'm no longer "ravenous",...I tend to make better choices. I started being "fiber" conscious when I read an article explaining it's health benefits,...and I'm talking heart and arterial health. A pleasant side effect has been weight loss. - 3 - Choose water too drink with your meals. If you're "eating out" this choice will also save you $! - 4 - Don't rush it. Our bodies are designed to burn FEWER calories when we're not getting enough to eat,...you go into "famine" mode. So, have a big calorie day at least once a week. - My weight loss goal is only 1 lb per week,... I've been averaging 2,...but I'm only shooting for 1. - That's doable with only minor changes,... and at that rate a year from now you're 50lbs lighter,... ,...and in 4 years you've disappeared!
