If you went under for surgery and when you came to, your genitals were aching as if they were penetrated and your hair was all unkempt. That might arise some suspicion.

Have him try to treat what ever it is you told him was the problem and when he trys to treat it say it seems worse then before.

Being drunk while operating..leaving a scalpel in the body..severing an artery causing death..being on drugs with tragic consequences for the patient. :)

Anyone can get sued at any time for anything. The sad thing is, much of what doctors get sued for isn't really malpractice, and many instances of actual malpractice never make it to lawsuits. I'd say that malpractice occurs when a physician isn't practicing according to the accepted standard of care. A bad outcome doesn't necessarily have to result, and by the same token not every bad outcome is a result of malpractice. Bottom line, it's a crapshoot sometimes. We just have to practice the best we can and hope for the best.
