I started at late 13 but since don't smoke anymore. My experience with smoking young was falling school results, truancy, social awkwardness, it made me introverted, suspicious...you get the picture. Smoking as a teen will affect your mental developement ie: growth and memory. It may also make you develop antisocial behaviour ie: petty crime, lying and vandalism. Also, depression and anxiety and the constant preoccupation about when you're next going to get stoned or worrying about running out of mull will send you spiralling downward further. Theres also the increased risk of cancer, stroke, heart disease/attack later in life. Your complexion: Acne (from overeating junk food while experiencing munchies), premature wrinkles (from lack of oxygen to face/eye area), dark shadows around eyes...well to sum it up it makes your skin look awful, like a junkie. When I quit my complexion cleared up perfectly, although having wrinkles at 23 is one which will never clear up! My imput may not stop you from 'hitting that sweet ganj' but at least think of your life, and the lives of your family. You may think people don't/won't know you smoke, but anyone can tell from your behaviour. I have witnessed this again and again in teens who smoke mull. People who get stoned are usually getting stoned to escape from problems in their life, try to indentify and correct these problems. Remember my answer later in life when you will regret what you are doing to yourself now, because you can't turn back time!

Yes, it causes stupidity and contributes to obesity. You will develop Asthma as you smoke more and more. You will probably develop a tolerance and you will move onto harder drugs, why? Because you get bored with it and will be looking for other ways to enhance your high. Your perception will be off and may take a swig of water and it will taste like vinegar. YOU DON'T KNOW IF IT WAS CUT WITH ANYTHING!!! Racing Heart, cotton mouth, hypersensitivity to pain, cold, hot, lights, sound and yes the munchies. The best high in the world is that which you already posess: your own seratonin. Get active in something that isn't so expensive and risky. Good Luck!

Not to lecture, but 13 is too young of an age to begin smoking pot. Mainly due to the fact that your emotions and whathaveyou are still in hardcore development. When you smoke pot, it's true, your perceptions are a little wacky, so you have to be sure you know whats a-happenin' before so. Anyway, having babbled there for a bit, the main physical 'ailments' from smoking weed are : Coughing, possibly wheezing depending on how often you smoke and how it is inhaled, dry, red eyes, and the ever dreaded cottonmouth. However on the other hand, marijuana is great for helping with things like : glaucoma, nausea, it's a wonderful expectorant, insomnia, anorexia, and other things as well. Hope this helped a little.

There is no permanent physical harm that marijuana will have on a 13 year old. But since pot has a greater influence on people with with weak and less developed minds, (young people or people with psychoneurosis), and since young people are usually the ones who abuse marijuana, (use it when it's unnessessary or just cuz their friends are doing it) It can lead to long-term mental disorders such as retardedness of mental growth along with an apparent apathetic behaviour. This is somewhat off the topic but I feel like I should say it. Pot is overated. Pot along with any other drugs are for morons who can't find tue happiness within themselves. Once you become dependant on it, you'll feel like you can't function without it. Pot's induced creativity is fine but pot isn't for everyone. Some people become introverted, asocial, spacey, paranoid, manic depressive. But other people ( usually older people), don't have any psychological problems. It all depends on ones mentality. Ultimately, pot is a useless waste of money. once one quits and passes the withdrawal phase, a person will feel better and be healthier.

The brain is still in it's early stages of development. If you drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes, consume excessive caffeine or take just about any drug at this stage it could be harmful to your health. I would suggest waiting until you are at least of age to drink. Cannabis, just like alcohol is for adults, responsible cannabis consumers need to be respected not arrested.

Yes! Cigarettes cause bodily harm and marijuana has a mental effect as well as a physical. I may sound tough on this but I do care about the qaulity of human life and no matter what anyone says please take this seriosly!
