Should I take the job that pays $30 per hour that is really boring of the one that pays half as much but is fun?

Toughie. I'd personally pick the fun job, because I'm a fun kind of person, but if your financial future is bleak...you may want to consider the well paying job.

You know, that really depends on where you are in your life right now. Do you need the money, or is your nest egg secure enough to be able to do what you want? That's a tought decision either way.

For me, a job is just that, a job. I don't expect it to be fun, especially at that rate, otherwise it would be more difficult to get. I live by the motto... Work to Live Don't Live to Work The things that you could do with the money, including fun trips or buying things for a hobby that you normally couldn't afford or helping others could bring more fun in your life to off set the boring job.

depends on what you really aim for.. if you aim for money then you have no choice but to get the job that will give you greater money but if you aim just to past your time then get the most interesting one. but basically work is something you should enjoy doin :)

if you are compensated well at a job that you are good at, it gives you more money and time to do the things you love.
