When converting WordPad documents to Word, how can I avoid extra spaces appearing between each letter?

    It depends on what side you are doing the conversion . . . If you are using wordpad, saving it as a text file (txt) would do er', and then simply opening it in Word, THEN saving it as a word .doc file will fix it.

    Don't count on WordPad in any of it's versions to be amazingly capable. It's not really intended for word-processing, but more for viewing certain types of files, such as .txt files, mostly at a legacy level, (old dos, Win 3.1, etc.)
