I would say yes and no. Also look at the way your grandparents took care of themselves, and look at the way your parents took care of themselves. Also realize that the way Americans today live, and the way our grandparents lived are completely different, so I would expect longer life expectancies, because we know so much more now than when we used to. But nevertheless, genetics still play a part in what diseases we are predisposed to.

I think it all depends on how well you take care of yourself.

I hope not, my Gparents died in their 30's and I have passed that age and my Dad lived into his eighties :o)
