Honestly, I do. I crave to be the person that doesn't give a damn about anyone and does what she pleases. But I care what others will think about me, and live my life accordingly. It's a bad thing.

Yes I do. I don't give a hoot whether they like me or not, as long as they treat me with respect, and that means with manners, a reasonable attitude, and maturity. I do the best I can to respect others, to the point where I'm almost always friendly, so I expect much of the same treatment.

In most cases, yes, especially from the people whom I am involved with both personally and professionally. These are the same people too that could hurt me more than anything if they betray the respect I give them. It happened to me once when this person in authority whom I work with managed to leak out something confidential that only me, our top boss and this guy knew, something which had to do with what our top boss had told me, while this guy was just copied. He told this to someone else not part of the loop.
