Someone smacking gum or their lips. Sorry people but "Loving You," by Minnie Ripperton drives me absolutely insane. It was used to torture me previously.. I do not like that song.

The sound of noisy eaters. My youngest will look right at them and say, "Is that good?", they will say, "Sure is!", and Zack will respond,"Sounds like it!" Friends, strangers, he doesnt care. It is very annoying to have to listen to.

The rustling of plastic bags - I HATE people unloading shopping near me, it gets right under my skin and I sit tensely with my teeth gritted until it is over.

The felt fabric material thing. I cant stand that. What is that called when you cant stand that? Cringe is a really funny word for me because one of my friends is always saying it because this other person is always annoying in a funny way and he growls that word at her. He's very wierd.

Fingernails scraped on a blackboard. But I cured myself of the horror by repeatedly scraping my own fingernails over the blackboard, and although I don't exactly enjoy it, I hate it much less than everybody else. I used to lecture, and periodically students need something to wake them up, and a good rake of fingernails on the blackboard attracted their attention.

When bad singers sing, the song "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt, most of the awful "noises" that come out of a radio these days.
