Yes. (Pleasure taken in the misfortune of others) Does it make me laugh? Not in itself, but depending on the context- I always found "Faulty Towers" pretty funny.

Mostly not. Lady Fuchsia's Fawlty Towers example is a good one, but I get tired of that kind of humor very quickly. I can't look at old Jerry Lewis movies at all because they seem so cruel to me. Know what I wonder? Why is GERMAN the only Western language that has a word for this emotion?
