Not me but my brother loved doing that as a kid, problem was that he could never put anything back together again...ha ha...the toys we lost to that kid!

OMGoodness I did as a kid. I got this recorder and was so interested on what made it work that I disassembled it but ended up with all kinds of extra 'stuff' after I thought I put it back together the same way I took it apart. NOT! It taught me not to do that again! I'm a quick learner. lol

As long as it was something no one wanted to use anymore... For putting things together, I'd get kits. Even then though, sometimes there was an unexpected challenge.

Yeah but everytime i put it back togerther i always ended up with 3 or 4 extra parts left over
