For those of you who believe homosexuality is a choice, what are some of the reasons a person would make such a choice?

I'll go out on a limb here and guess it's because gay people revel in being targets for homophobia. They must enjoy being singled out and laughed at because hey - who doesn't enjoy public ridicule? I'd appreciate straight people devoting so much time and energy into making sure my partner of say, 25 years could be legally barred from my room in the ICU because we weren't married. Seriously, who wouldn't find comfort in that?

I would imagine for the same reasons that a person chooses to be heterosexual--it's what feels right to them.
