That's a question to ask your doctor. I have a friend who's more bothered by hyperactivity than attention deficit. His doc keeps him on Valium. He can pop a 10 MG and still be bouncing off the walls. I'd be asleep within an hour on that dose.

My son had it when he was a little boy. We gave him ritalin and it really helped him through school.

I now have an advanced degree, I Suffer. I used different meds when necessary. I find Lots off caffiene has a calming effect.
