Don't you just *despise* people who don't use their thesaurus?

loathe, disgust, detest, despise :P

To me all words carry the same strength but it is the action behind the words that adds power. Example: you can say you hate me and it may make me feel bad. You can say you hate me while beating me with a bat will be much worse. Words alone can have an effect if we want them to, but it has to be wanted before they can really hurt. We live in a world where no matter what you say someone is offended. This is wrong on so many levels as it throws up walls to divide us. People need to get over being hurt and offended at words and work harder on the actions that cause the real hurt.

I like despise - lots of hissing sounds!
