What would cause a single 47 year old man to go into every detail of his sex life with his 82 year old mother?

my step mother goes into every little detail of their sex life with me.. I DON'T CARE.. so who knows. I think she's attention so bad that it just spills out. Maybe that's the way with this man.. IDK.

without trying to sound highly judgmental, this just sounds like a parental relationship without the right amount of boundaries. Doesn't matter how old the child is - if the parents control any aspect of their grownup son/daughter's relationship.... chances are... something became off-kilter in that dynamic.

That apron string is pretty sturdy I'd say. He must need mommy's counsel...normally it's none of the parents' business what kind of sex life his/her child has. For him to do this is very odd/sad/puzzling..for her to listen is even worse. That is definitely a "unique" relationship and that is not a compliment. :( The worst part, of course, is the betrayal of his partner to an outsider. Couples have a right to expect privacy..some things belong just to them. To have one partner betray another partner like that is, well, unacceptable to me!
