I have two nephews who are colour blind...one is red/green and the other one is totally colour blind...

My step-father is color blind. We don't let him match the socks. Red and green are supposed to be the colors but he was a truck driver...and you'd think the stoplights would get him...

Yes. A cousin. Red, Green, and Brown all look pretty much the same to him. I have often wondered how he perceives the colors of Fall, Spring, and Summer. He says he can tell the difference. I have no idea what the world might look like to a "color blind" person. But, colors are only perceptions. I think his world is probably every bit as beautiful as mine. He is certainly a cheerful person.

As far as I am aware, most colour-blindness is to red-green. Then next is yellows. Also there are some red-orange. As well as red-black.

Red and green are the most common. That is why all stop lights have the lights the same. Red on top Green on Bottom. So they know when its actually red or green.

I think only men can be color-blind. My former boss was red-green color-blind.
