***If it was a law*** I would have to. Would I like it? NO!! I think it would be ridiculous! But if it were a law, what choice would anyone have? Be in prison or not do it?
-
No. . . .no. . . .HELL no.
-
NO ,not a Snowmans chance in Hell
-
Yes. If a speeding car comes by when crossing an intersection the man would die and the woman would be spared. I knew an older married couple, he was Hispanic and she was Japanese. Whenever we were in the car with them, she would insist on sitting in the back and let my husband sit up front with her husband. My husband protested and she looked so uncomfortable that he finally took the front seat graciously because that is what she was brought up with.

I think I could adjust but I would hate it. I want a woman by my side not behind me. When you have a society like that the woman in effect becomes nothing more then your little baby making machine. Thats not really companionship or anything that most of us crave in a relationship.
-
If it were what 'society expected' it wouldn't affect me much because I do not live by those kinds of rules anyway. If it were the law, then I would never marry and I certainly wouldn't be bringing children into that kind of life.
-
Hmm, the view back there can be good ;) but it'd be hard to adjust. I like walking beside the guys i'm with.
-
no, i would get in all kinds of trouble. no way.
-
No, I would not. I don't know if I could. It may be possible, but I wouldn't try. Viva la [other country].
-
No. While I believe men and women play different roles in society, I don't believe they should be in a sense 'downgraded' by walking behind a man.
-
Probably not. Most of my friends that I have (well, people i will talk to if I have to) are male, and I would have to walk backwards to talk to them, which is annoying. These pathetic little things I would never get used to
-
I consider myself to be equal to all human beings so to have to walk behind them because it was expected...i dont think so.
-
No. Even being a man, I couldn't get used to it, I hate having someone staring at my back, and I'd feel like a total pig having a woman just sort of tagging along like that. If I'm going to be out walking with a woman, (Or anyone else for that matter.) I want to be able to talk with them, and see them, not just have them taggine along back there like some kind of pathetic little street waif.
-
I could, but I would refuse to.
-
No. Women have their place in the world and in society just as much as men do. I do not understand how any woman could stand to live in a place where she is viewed as being "lesser than men".
-
I lived and walked out of that life and I know what means to have a brains and at the same time be a slave. Now, not for a billion dollar. And, if possible will help every one of those women to stand for their rights.
-
I wouldn't even try to adjust
-
no. at the very least it would make holding hands difficult. besides, i don't tend to think of people as being in front of or behind/above or below me.
