Typical negative stance. People for whatever reason somehow believe the negative and not the positive. Writers who go negative (Miller, Hemingway, Bob Dylan, and so forth) are shooting fish in a bucket. I don't much care for it. This particular quote: Hogwash. Sounds like it should be true, but think for a second and I'll bet you could come up with a half dozen exceptions in less than a minute.
