  • There is a program thru Dept of Rehab that if you have a certified injury/disability from a MD, you can go to school and be retrained and they will pay for it. Insurance companies don't usually do things like that.. talk to Dept of Rehab

  • It's hard to tell what you mean when you say "insurance". The insurance policies are all different, so there is no one answer. If you mean workman's comp insurance, I do not believe they pay for re-training. Your best bet would be to hire an attorney on a contingency (he gets paid after the fact) and have him find your best solution.
