  • That's a toughy. I love my electronics. Hmmm...I will say my Chevy 4x4 SUV. Fully loaded with all non-factory add ons (minus microwave and hot tub).
  • I couldn't possibly narrow my "stuff" down to one most valuable..too many things from too many loved ones...I have a chair my grandfather built and for which my grandmother did the needlepoint..I have a Unicorn painting my sister did for me..she also made me a beautiful blue and white hooked rug with two unicorns on it.. I have an artist's sketch of my son and me when he was 6 that I had framed and treasure...I have pictures galore..mementos from people who have since died. I wish I could choose one thing..but I am enveloped in memories of family/friends as represented by my "stuff"! :)
  • My heart :)
  • memories
  • This little larch tree that I planted with my daughter, on a nice spring day, when she was just four years-old. It was only a foot high or so when we planted it. You can see how much it has grown in just four years. It's the most valuable object I own---that is close to my heart.
  • My home.
  • My heart, then my home...
  • The bag in this picture. It is worth almost nothing monetarily. However, it has a story: My father had one like it that he got from his mother (or was it from my mother's family... I forgot). He left it to me and it was stolen from me along with everything else of personal value when a thief took a box during a burglary. I contacted a Romani ("Gypsy") museum in Chicago, told them about the bag, asking if they knew anything about it. They told me much and told me that they were going to contact the main branch of the museum in Romania for more information. They pulled this bag out of an exhibit in the main museum in Romania and sent it to me. I paid shipping only. It is very like the one my father left me and it might be from my Clan.
