JUNO (whatever/whoever that is) has not been scamming me.

Juno used to be a free dial-up internet service. That's what I know about them. How did they scam you?

Not sure if "scamming" is really the word for it... but I used their "free" email and internet access for a while quite a few years ago. At first it was fine, but the more I used the "free" internet access, the more I'd get disconnected - to the point where I wouldn't be able to connect for days and I'd get a popup message saying that I'd used too much time online and that they were blocking me from connecting so that other users could get online. So the whole "free" thing was kind of crap, because you really only got like ten minutes per week before they cut you off. I say don't offer something that you're not really willing to give up. They offered free internet access and then got an attitude because people were actually USING it! Imagine that. Anyway, there's my experience with Juno. There are much better services out there. Heck, you can get unlimited internet access for like 10 bucks a month - the ten bucks is worth it just to be able to get online whenever you want without the hassle from the "free" service providers. Besides that, there are tons of free internet-based email services as well. Get yourself a cheap ISP and an internet email account and leave Juno for the birds.

they never scammed me and neither did netzero besides I am using Juno free internet right at this moment without their dial in software and am using DUN. Netzero blocks this plust you get past the 10hrs limit. Just go in and put ur username as username@juno.com password there you have it.. :) oh and before you do you will have to remember a local phone number for your area, so get it off their site if you can or off the dialin software before an uninstall.. :) EDIT: remember don't do anything extraordinary or illegal to raise a reg flag and ruin it for the rest of us.. Just do normal surfing and downloading. :)
