Actually, from what I've read, it's pretty low. It's somewhere in the range of 15% for each instance of unprotected sex that occurs near the time of ovulation. And of those 15% another 15% will end in miscarriage before the woman even knows that she's pregnant. Still pretty risky though. I wouldn't feel so good about having unprotected sex if I knew that I had even a 2% chance of getting pregnant.
It is extremely high. Chronic made a good point about STD's - hopefully that will deter you. I can tell you that my husband and I got pregnant the first time we had unprotected sex. I know quite a few people this has happened to so, if you don't want to be pregnant - don't take the chance!
Without knowing the exact percentage because I am sure it varies from couple to couple, it is HIGH. Not to mention the risk of sexually transmitted diseases.
Knowing it is HIGH alone ought to be good enough for you I would hope.
Out of 100 women, 80-85% become pregnant within 1 year if they are having unprotected sex.
Can you buy the morning after pill over the counter?

Thank you, Someone that knows what they are talking about. Plus if a women take BC at the same time every day and do not skip a day it drop to 3% to 5% in the first year and half. In the 3rd year it drops below .1%.
