Help answer this question below.
I play my guitar about once a week.
I do not play any longer. When I did I used to practice at a minimum one hour a day, and usually two hours.
I was a music major in college. We were required to practice 3 hours a day, in addition to all of our normal ensembles and classes.
When I'm not required to practice, I usually end up playing anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour each day.
I have violin. And i do practice with it twice in a week.
I play it 2x a week :D sometimes 3x
Play the piano almost every day. For about an hour.

I play it at least three times a week. Usuall between 30 min to an hour.
I 'twirk it whenever if feel the need! :D
Actually, I play two hours a day.
And that means 14 hours in a week :p Plus I play the piano, what do you play?
But I play the flute, guitar and the clarinet too :P
It's not that easy to have everything in the same time so I'll say in a schedule:
1 hour (a day) Piano adn clarinet
2 hours flute and guitar (because it's much more funnier to play them :))
Haha, maybe that's why I'm studying in a musicschool :P
I play my instrument daily, at around the same time, the regular attention to practice helps me stay tuned into the parts I need to be paying more attention to and practicing on.
I practice the piano usually 6 or 7 days a week. I don't really know for how long, though. Some days I could practice for hours and some days, I don't know, maybe 15-30 minutes? I play my guitar maybe once or twice a week. I play my violin every once in a while for fun. I took violin for about 5 years but I'm not as serious about it as the piano.
I used to play 8-10 hours per day, but I'm in a funk so I don't even pull my instruments out of their cases right now. It's been a while.
I like to practice my instrument as often as possible until it gets sore.
Real answer:
When I was playing the violin I practiced about 2 hours a day because I enjoyed it. I did not consider it practice, I considered it just plain old playing the violin.

I like to practice on Saturdays and I usually practice until I run out of either blackpowder or round balls.
When ever the mood strikes me, its the key to not getting sick of it ;)
WHEN I WAS A CHILD ,I PRACTISED PIANO EVERY DAY.TEDIOUS BUT VERY USEFUL TO SKILL PROGRESS .personal satisfaction will be gained from a success after time-long practicing
Everyday for about 1 hour a day. It gets boring practicing scales with a metronome.
I use the rhythm tracks in a variety of modern music styles. It has help me develop rhythm and timing. Best of all, the tracks were created with a drone in each key to allow you to check your intonation and work on your ear training. This is invaluable in helping you to play or sing in tune and to hear intervals.

If asked to play, do you perform only music that you like or do you also have a catalogue of songs that appeal to others more than yourself?
