  • If this is something you love to do, you owe it to yourself to pursue it. You are young, so if it doesn't work out, you can go back to college. I think it's worth doing IMHO.
  • Maybe you don't need to quit all together, but could go to school part-time. Take one or two classes, just to keep up with your studies, but to allow time to pursue the other opportunity. Regardless of what you decide to do for your future career, an education is never a waste of time.
  • Personally I would say no, but I know that trying to cram school and studying into a schedule with a full time (unpaid) job would be impossible for all but the most dedicated and sleep deprived of people. I would say base your decision on whether you are sure you will return to school. If you truly want this apprenticeship, and you can't do even part time school, you should try to plan out when you will return, because the longer you wait, the harder it gets. If you go straight from apprenticing to working for the shop, will you have any additional free time? If you think there's a chance you will never finish, I highly recommend passing on the apprenticeship until you have your bachelor's. If you are truly talented you could get another, and a degree will be useful if you can't make a living in body modification.
