  • what you need to do first is write done and document any and all conversations you have had with the other party and be specific. once completed, ask yourself in an honest fashion, not biased towards you, that if you were a judge, would you prevail or not. many times a suit is valid, but you cant display enough evidence in the courts eyes to award you compensatory damages even if they believe you. the bif question for you, is how and when did they pick up the equipment, were you present, and at that moment, what was agreed to. to prevent you from going crazy on all of this, get there address, send a registered letter with return receipt and write out exactly what you would take to court and ask them if they would like to settle in or out of court. it is that simple. most people would rather settle out of court for obvious reason. good luck to you, and merry xmas
