  • trans needs looked at possibly serviced. sounds like some bad slipping.
  • Sounds like a transmission issue to me. It may have something to do with the torque converter or (more likely) a slipping gear. For the life of me I don't know why you'd think of the injectors first. One way to check if it's the torque converter or the actual gear spindle is to put the shifter in '2'. This will shift it up one gear. If the problem still persists, then I would suspect the torque converter if it was my vehicle. I've heard lots of stories of chryslers with transmission issues and they are always nasty. I hope you have a warranty on it... Good luck
  • aaahhhh.... stop yelling.
  • That is a transmission problem. Get that sucker into the shop and have some professionals diagnose it for you. Transmission problems can be a real pain, and if you don't know what you are doing, you could just make the issue worse.
  • Sounds like a transmission issue. For more information, consult your earlier question on the same issue.
  • if your injectors are bad your engine wouldn't sound right...SO. if you say it revs but won't go faster than i would say that its you TRANSMISSION. you probably have slippage. You will probably have to rebuild / fix or replace you transmission. I too own a 99 ram SPORT. do lotsa work on it all time. Generally I like the truck. ..GOOD luck.
